Get connected to life today

You can start today, right now to have a real relationship with God.  This isn’t about whether you will go to heaven when you die, this is about having a relationship with God now here on this earth.

We all have failed and fallen short this isn’t even about sin, Jesus already paid for that.  This is about the fact that God is real and desires to be close to you.  He wants to be active in your life. You don’t have to bow your head or close your eyes even.  You can start right now with just some simple words and a pure heart that desires to know God better.   We make things more complicated than they need to be.  This is as simple as “God I turn my heart towards heaven and I desire to know you.  I am after You”, I want to know you better and treat you better”. The exact words are less important than the the heart behind them. Then start to act on this statement.  Start to pursue God, notice Him more pay more attention to Him.  Isn’t this how we want to be treated?  Start to invest in this relationship, after all every relationship requires effort.  

Just like in real life if you are interested in something what do you do?  You start to google everything you can about it, read about it, listen to teachers and speakers talk about it, study, daydream about it, etc.,  why would a relationship with God be any different.  Start to pour yourself into this relationship start to invest time in it, start to nourish your soul and spirit with worship, the bible, good teachers, etc.  and watch how your life will start to change and get better. 

Break free from religion that makes this about some form or tradition, this is about heart and belief.  God isn’t a harsh, demanding God that requires you to be perfect, or perform some ritual before He will even consider thinking about you.  Don’t treat God that way Hes’ far to amazing, and far too wonderful. God is much closer than we think and a lot less complicated than we have been led to believe.   Turn your heart towards heaven today, disconnect from all the junk around us and plug into Heavenly places.
