The world is screaming loudly right now, and there is noise and opinion everywhere. The atmosphere is teaming with negativity against people, systems, viewpoints but really its against God. The atmosphere is bombarding people trying to get them to be upset about things, lash out, become something they are not. This is not who you are. Stand your ground against negativity.
There are things bombarding you trying to convince you to be something that are not. Do not give in but stand your ground.
Mob mentality
Do not just go along with the crowd, or blindly follow the mob that wants to burn everything and everyone down. Stand firm in who you are, but more importantly, stand firm in Gods word, in what He says. Sometimes its easier just to be upset, to lash out. To follow the status quo. Its harder to really stand for something when its not the popular thing. Who are we really and who are we really going to be.
Are we going to blindly follow and just be upset?
Are we going to give in and become something that we are not?
Are we going to join the mob and just start tearing everyone down we deem unworthy, all in the name of a good cause of course.
Or, are we going to to stand our ground and not give in to the “voices” that want to make us something we are not. This is not who we are not who we are destined to be. Stop listening to the onslaught that just wants mob participants. Don’t allow yourself to be hooked. Break free from this crowd of destruction and stand. Stand for God, stand for who He is, stand for His word. This war is against Him, don’t get caught on the wrong side.

The choice is yours
Everyday now more than ever we are faced with choices. Choices to give in and allow certain voices to have a place in our hearts, or choices to stand firm and deny these voices access.
The atmosphere is loud and just wants to stir you up to be upset with it. It wants to stir you into a frenzy to be mad at people, cut people off, turn against people, lash out, treat people mean, give in to old ways, old patterns.
It wants you to be suspicious of people, question people’s motives. It speaks lies about people and wants you to go along with it. It wants you to believe people are against you, and want to harm you or hold you back from good. Its just looking for mindless selfish followers and caters to your fears and insecurities. It’s a liar, and wants to convince you to believe it’s lies. Don’t give in but stand your ground against negativity.
Hold onto Gods Word, and what is true and right.
Ephesians 4:32 “Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
Ephesians 4:2-3 “With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
Colossians 3:8 “But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.”
Ephesians 4:29 “Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to the listeners.”
Ephesians 6:10-18 “A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we[a] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:13 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm”
Don’t give in. Don’t listen. Don’t make room in your heart for darkness. Instead stand, stand for Gods word. Do good and not evil, build up and don’t tear down. Love and bless instead of hating and cursing.
